Slotlounge Editorial Method
Dorian Whitcombe is the editorial name under which the Slotlounge pages are signed. The team chose it so that each page has one accountable voice. It does not refer to a real public figure, and no biography, career, qualification or gambling history is offered with it.

What the name covers
The name covers the homepage, the pages on registration, bonus, mobile access and payments, and the service pages. It does not cover account support, advice on individual cases or dealings with the casino on a reader’s behalf.
Where a fact comes from and which source prevails
A fact starts either in the casino’s own published wording or in an independent review that carries a date. Forum posts and unattributed listings are leads to be checked, not sources, and they are not printed. A figure appears on a page only when the casino states it or when at least two independent sources agree on it; a figure that rests on one source is left out, and the page describes the rule it belongs to without the number. Sources are weighed in a fixed order: the casino’s own promotion and terms pages first, then its written support statements, then dated independent reviews and last aggregated listings, and a lower-ranked source never overrules a higher-ranked one. Where the casino states no value, the page gives the condition without a figure instead of choosing between sources.
How terms are read
A promotion or payment condition is read as a sentence with four parts: what triggers it, what it requires, how long it runs and what happens when it is not met. A page states all four or says which of them the casino leaves open. Wagering multiples, validity periods and stake limits are copied exactly as published and are never paraphrased into a looser form, because a rounded or softened condition can mislead a reader more than an omitted one. Where two conditions interact, for example a stake limit and a short validity period, the page says so instead of describing each in isolation.
Check dates and rechecks
Each page records the day on which its facts were last checked. Bonus, payment and verification terms change often and are rechecked on a short cycle, while operator facts such as launch year and licence are rechecked less often. A page that passes its cycle without a recheck is taken up before any new page is drafted. Every worked amount is recalculated before publication, with the multiple applied to the bonus and the amount expressed in the currency of the page.
What happens to an error report
A reader who finds a figure that differs from the casino’s current wording is asked to name the page, the figure and the place where the casino states it. The author compares the report with the casino’s own text. If the report is right, the figure is replaced and the check date renewed, and the earlier statement leaves no trace in the text. If the casino itself has altered a condition, the statement is replaced once the change has been observed. A reader’s account of a personal experience is treated as a prompt to look again, not as a source, and a page changes only when the casino’s terms confirm the point. Material corrections are logged internally with their date, and reports are answered in the order received.
What the pages leave out
The pages carry no invented tests, no deposits or withdrawals presented as personal experience, no support contacts that cannot be confirmed and no advice on avoiding verification. Promotional adjectives and superlatives are not used, and conditions that restrict a player receive the same space as those that benefit one. Gambling is presented as paid entertainment with a negative expected return, a bonus is never described as a way to profit, and limit and exclusion tools are given the same prominence as promotions.
Recording changes
Each change to a published figure is entered in an internal log with the old value, the new value, the source of the correction and the date. The log lets the author see which figures change most often, and those are rechecked first in the next cycle. A figure that has changed twice within a cycle is flagged as unstable and described on the page with a note that the casino adjusts it frequently.
Country editions
When one edition is corrected, the author examines every other edition for the same figure, so that a condition common to all of them, such as the wagering multiple, never differs between pages.
